Scott J. “Scotty” Nichols

FRAMINGHAM Scott J. “Scotty” Nichols, 45, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away peacefully Feb. 4, 2015. Born in Natick and raised in Framingham, he was the son of Helen F. (Whitcher) Nichols. Scotty worked locally for Framingham Liquors and the Corner Pub in Ashland. He enjoyed music, attending concerts and comics/ collectibles. Friends and family all have good memories of Scotty and the laughter he brought to all. Whether it was a witty response, a joke, or a funny story there was never a dull moment with him at your side. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him. In addition to his mother, he leaves a brother: Christopher J. Nichols of Leominster; 2 aunts: Louise Whitcher of Framingham & Jane Goguen of Marlborough; a great aunt and a great uncle; 3 close friends: Paul Kelly, Thomas “Sully” Sullivan and Billy Phillips and his pet cat Baby T. All are respectfully invited to his memorial Mass to be celebrated Saturday, February 14th at noon at St. Bridget’s Church, 830 Worcester Rd., (Rte. 9 East) Framingham. There are no funeral home visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his name to: Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA. 01606.
