John A. Foster, Sr., 83, of Wells, Maine formerly of Saxonville died November 8, 2012 under the care and comfort of his family at his residence following a period of declining health. Loving husband for 54 years of the late Rosalind B. “Dolly” (Chappell) Foster who died on August 20, 2008. Beloved father of John A. “Jeff” Foster, Jr. of Bellingham, Laura J. Chevalier of Wells, ME and Pamela F. Flaherty of Shrewsbury. Devoted grandfather of Matthew and Daniel Foster; Jacquelyn and Adam Bernard and James H. Flaherty, V. Cherished great-grandfather of Caiden and Connor Bernard. Brother of William Foster of Holliston, Charles Foster of Brewster and Alice Dunsford of Wells. ME. Father-in-law of Michelle Trudeau of Marlborough and the late James H. Flaherty, IV who died on Oct. 13, 2010. Visitations on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Rte 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland. Private funeral services and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
