Alison G. (Pearlman) Reynard

FRAMINGHAM Alison G. (Pearlman) Reynard, 87, a resident of Framingham for over 45 years, died Thursday Feb. 20, 2014 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY (where she was known as “Goldie”), she was the daughter of the late Abe and Edith (Haimowitz) Pearlman. Mrs. Reynard graduated from Girl’s Commercial High School in Brooklyn and also took night classes in singing and clothing design. She worked several years for FW Woolworth Co. in downtown Framingham as a cashier where she was remembered for her friendly nature and gift of gab. She enjoyed gardening in her younger years, crossword puzzles, TV crime dramas, and ice skating competitions, but especially loved spending time with friends and family, including the family cat Cassie. She is survived by her son: James Christopher Reynard and daughter: Kathleen A. Reynard, both of Framingham and a brother: Herb Pearlman & his wife Julie of New York City. She was pre-deceased by 2 sisters: Lorraine Sidor and Sondra Budoff. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday Feb. 26th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove St., Framingham Centre.
