Charles E. Brody of Framingham died suddenly on Thursday, August 8, 2013. He was only 56 years old.

Born on August 13, 1956 in Brighton, Massachusetts, he was the devoted son of the late Marion (Ryder) Collura. Charles was raised in Waltham and a 1974 graduate of Waltham High School. Mr. Brody went on to graduate from Johnson & Wales College in Rhode Island as a culinary chief and he worked as a chief for St. Mark’s School in Southborough for over fifteen years.

He was a resident of Framingham and served as a Framingham School Committee member for several years. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, Six Flags, roller coasters, camping with his son Zach and the Boy Scouts.

Charles was the loving father of Nicole M. Brody of Stoneham, Danielle L. Brody & her fiancé Jason Prince of Allentown, Pennsylvania & Zachary Q. Brody of Framingham. He was the former husband of Michelle N. (Colatosti) Brody & her fiancé Michael Connerty of Stoneham and the caring brother of the late Diane Stewart & Robert Collura.

The Funeral Service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. at Natick Common on Wednesday, August 14th at 6:00PM. Visiting hours will be held prior from 4:00-6:00PM. Interment is private.

Memorial contributions in Charlie’s memory may be made to the Framingham Public Schools, 454 Water St., Framingham, Massachusetts 01701.
